The One Day One Goal event took place at Coram’s Fields, London – UK and it involved a tournament format with teams playing against each other and interchanging players at the end of each match. It was well attended, allowing for each team to have up to 10 men and women on each side. There were participants from several different nations all in support of One Day One Goal and celebrating Peace Day.

Certificates were handed out to players as well as supporters in acknowledgment of their participation and support of Peace Day.

In Rwanda, there were activities held in Gihisi, Bugesera, Kinyinya and Kicuciro, with boys and girls from nursery age up to high school age groups participating in football in support for Peace Day 2013.
