Team Rwanda UK with Football Beyond Borders – 14 June 2014

After the game to promote “Love Football Hate Racism” initiative Team Rwanda UK members headed to Barking Football Club stadium where The Ethiopian Airlines 2014 African Nations Cup UK final between Sierra Leone and Nigeria was taking place. Our boys and girls watched on as Sierra Leone became champion of 2014 African Nations Cup UK by beating Nigeria 1 nil! The Sierra Leone achievements is very significant for us at Football for Hope Peace and Unity (FHPU Enterprise) and Team Rwanda UK because our shared unpleasant tragic history and that’s why we would like to congratulate them for becoming champion but also by inspiring us “Team Rwanda UK” to aim high and believing nothing is impossible. Well done Sierra Leone team!
